Premier League & PFA Community Fund

The work that Barclays Premier League clubs are delivering as part of the Creating Chances programme is becoming increasingly innovative. Some clubs are linking up with local Primary Care Trusts to tackle the big health issues in their areas; others have projects that see club staff delivering pioneering education sessions as part of the curriculum in local schools; and yet more are helping young people get back into education or into full time employment.

To help them create and develop this type of work, the Premier League and the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) got together to establish a £12.9m fund which clubs can apply to. In two years, the Premier League and PFA Community Fund has already invested more than £9m into 50 groundbreaking projects. All clubs who have been in the Barclays Premier League during that time have had a chance to apply.

By clicking on each of the club logos to the right, you will get a snapshot of some of the projects being run by each of the clubs that have received grants from the Fund. As you will see, some clubs currently outside the Premier League accessed the Fund during their time in the top flight.
